About Us

Our Vision

We are passionate about seeing all people walking in the complete freedom of Jesus, fully loved and fully known.

Our Mission

Worship Together

Worship Together

We have all we need in Jesus right now. He is sufficient for us and He has given us all we need. Worship is our response to all that He has given us.

Do Life Together

Do Life Together

We recognise that we were created for community, with Jesus and with each other. We see a church that comes alongside others and does life with them.

Grow Together

Grow Together

We spur people on to recognise and walk in all that God has created them to be. We recognise we are all on a journey of becoming more like Jesus.

Our Values

Jesus
Our Centre

We are a Jesus community first and foremost. As people encounter Jesus, life change happens and true freedom is experienced.

Leadership
Our Future

We are passionate about growing with people marked by authentic humility; not limited by ceilings people place on them, but empowered to be the leader God has made them to be.

Whānau
Our Community

We don’t do life alone, we do life together; young and old, diverse but united, a community where all people can find home.

Generosity
Our Response

Our lives are lived in response to all that Jesus has done for us. Our communities and cities are impacted by that generosity.

Rest
Our Posture

We acknowledge that it’s from a place of rest that we work. We find joy in allowing the Holy Spirit to do his work in and through us.

Our Story

Our Story

Together Church was launched in 2023 by Martin and Nicole with a simple desire: to create a place where all people can experience the freedom found in Jesus. A place where families can thrive, individuals feel seen, and community feels like home.

After months of prayer, planning, and a long search for a space to gather, we found Shelly Park School—soon to become the home of Together Church. What started with a small group and big vision has grown into a vibrant, multi-generational church where kids laugh, people connect deeply, and faith is lived out authentically.

We’re not perfect, but we’re passionate—about Jesus, about people, and about building a church that truly feels like family.

Our Beliefs

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is accurate, authoritative, and applicable to our everyday lives.

2 Tim 3:15-17; Hebrews 4:12

We believe that Jesus established and is building his Church. God’s plan is that all believers regularly meet together for worship, fellowship, service, and instruction in the Word of God. The Church is not a location or building we attend. The church is the body of Christ, the people.

Matthew 16:13-20; Ephesians 1:22-23

We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him, but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts.

Romans 3:20, 23

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man and is the only one who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross in our place, rose again to life, and ascended to heaven.

Colossians 1:20-22; 2 Corinthians 5:21

We believe that we receive salvation, the forgiveness of our sins and reconciliation to God, by grace through faith in Jesus.

Romans 3:24-26; Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 5:17

We believe that God is eternal and that he revealed himself as one God existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

John 1:1-5; Mathew 28:19

We believe in water baptism for every believer. By doing this they declare to the world that they have died with Christ and have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life.

We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is available to all believers. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts as enumerated in I Corinthians 12-14 and as manifested in the Early Church.

Romans 6:4; Matthew 28:19

We believe that God has a plan and purpose for each of our lives and that he enables us by his grace to grow in love, maturity, and relationship with him.

1 Peter 2:9; Romans 8:28-30

We believe that each person will exist eternally. Whether we spend eternity with God or separated from him is determined by our response to the grace and salvation of Jesus.

John 5:24; Romans 6:23

We believe that Jesus will come back again for the Church.

Revelation 1:7; Matthew 24:3
